I still love you

this morning I drove into
a Georgia O'Keefe. it was
too early and too cold and
I could smell him in my skin.
unfamilar beds and late nights with
friends who are new enough to
not know about you and
good enough to care.
I'm starting this new life without you
I'm starting to live this life and
as tough and as cold as you've made me
I still love you.
