sleepyskin's Diaryland Diary

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

where the foolish and trusting girl contemplates future

so the quick goodbyes at night have ended and
the slow hello's as the sun
breaks through the broken blinds
have begun. outside,
there is a chinook arch that spans my entire world and
the birds sing to us as we
lay there, trying not to be awkward trying not
to look into each other's eyes because we
just have not gotten to
that particular point yet.
the hands of a man I am used to,
(rough, dry, and worked)
have been replaced by a softness that my body yearns
to be touched by and
his soft and small and delicate features
are warming up to the back of my mind
way back there
where the foolish and trusting girl
contemplates future.
