sleepyskin's Diaryland Diary

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

everything inbetween

all the loose ends have
taken care of themselves now.

I sat and watched as the
ancient elevator opened and closed
for invisible people on the second floor.
seven hours ahead of me you
tilted your head back and laughed like
only you can and I
I sat there on a ripped leather chair, picking
at my fingers,
pulling at my cuticles.

I miss your hands, the way
they traced my life from head
to toe to
everything I hide in-between.
I miss the way you pull for me like
the moon rules the tides and gravity
and everything in-between.
